Am. Can. Ch. Euphrates Springtime Jaadan was whelped in November 1971 and was bred by David and Renee Fechheimer. He, like his sire, lived a long life, passing in February of 1986. He was owned by the William and Florence Lupton and enjoyed quite a bit of show ring success, but one of the most famous stories is of the only hunt Jaadan attended. It was the 1975 ASA Mia cup hunt with one field being won by Jaadan and the other, by the legandary Cirrus. Cirrus edged out Jaadan in what was a very close final run for the cup. Jaadan was one of the most influential sires of the '70's and '80's, making a widespread impact on Saluki pedigrees throughout the United States and abroad.
