BIS BISS Ch. Moshire Springtime Prophecy ("Khan") was acquired by Sara Winsted of Edmund OK at five years of age. They immediately formed a bond and a beautiful team in the showring and Sara enjoyed many wonderful moments with Khan as a showdog, producer and companion. Not unlike his mother, Pooh, Khan was an upstanding showman with a style that always drew the attention and applause of the ringside crowds. (1982 - 1996)

Khan and Sara
Tazi

From Sara Winsted's 1990 litter sired by her BIS BISS Ch. Moshire Springtime Prophecy (above) to Ch. Moshire Wild Illusion CC, CM, FCh. (see 70s - 80s) came the top producing Ch. Blu-Nile Unkhanditional Love. "Tazi" was owned by Diane Srack of Upland CA. and was the winner of the ASA Brood Bitch Trophy in 1997 by virtue of her 1994 litter sired by MBIS Ch. Blue Nile True Prophecy, producing seven champions. Diane was exceedingly kind to "lend" Tazi to me in 1997 to produce the "RFR" litter sired by the young black fringed red, TSH Lakota.

Pups on the run

The "Moshire RFR" litter was Whelped May 6th 1997. Tazi's litter of three to TSH Lakota was the first to be born in Tehachapi CA. at Runnin' Fool's Ranch. The three siblings were extremely vigorous and hardy, using the thousands of acres of wilderness near home as their backyard, playground and learning field. All three developed to full potential physically, as well as mentally and set a new standard for my perceptions on puppy rearing.

Tex

"Tex", Ch. Moshire RFR Renegade, was the first born of the RFR litter. He remained at the ranch until his death in 2008 due to an unfortunate accident. Tex finished his bench title with ease as a two year old, shown entirely from the Bred by Exhibitor class. In the field, Tex accrued over sixty NOFCA points with a UK at the 2000 Grand Course. He was the 1999 SCC Bathsheba Cup winner.

Rose

Third born to Tazi's 1997 litter was the parti girl Moshire RFR Rosetta, known as "Rose". Rose also accrued NOFCA points in her few outings at the hunts. She was Best of Opposite Sex to her brother Sky at the 1998 San Angeles Saluki Club Futurity, judged by Victoria Cook of "Santana Salukis". She lives up at the ranch and still enjoys her hikes on the mountain trails at over twelve years of age.
