Sapsan and Samina are one week old today! Sapsan now weighs 1049 grams (2 lbs, 5 ounces), and Samina weighed in at 1011 grams (2 lbs, 3.5 ounces)! Sapsan has done a good job and has caught up and passed his sister in size. They are both doing a very well at doing what puppies do at this age: Eat and sleep, eat and sleep and be incredibly CUTE!

(4/10/2010) Sapsan and Samina are now almost two weeks old. Their eyes are opening and they continue to eat, sleep and thrive. They are beginning to try to stand up on their legs and are very strong and mobile!

(4/22/2010) Sapsan and Samina are now three weeks old and Sapsan's future owner, Tuija Tuominen, came for a visit and took the most wonderful photos of Ada and her children. Thank you Tuija for these photos! This duet is thriving and growing by leaps and bounds and we couldn't be happier. They are both still very heavily sabled, so we are looking forward to two very rich, black fringed red adults!

The pups are now four weeks old and begin to investigate their new, larger surroundings. Pictured above, they are meeting relatives, Grandma Jarida and Grandaunt, Jalisa. This is the first day they have ventured outdoors to broaden their horizons and begin new adventures!

And, of course, we must entertain dog show practice! Sapsan seems a natural (pictured) while sister Samina was far too busy for such standing still nonsense and took off for more play!

Sapsan and Samina are now seven weeks old! They are very sound, solid and happy pups and they have been vet checked and will soon be going to live with their new families where they will have many adventures on the field and in the ring!

At ten weeks of age, these two pups are now happily enjoying the longer days with plenty of sunshine. They have joined their new families and now look forward to many fun and exciting adventures. You can see one of their first outtings here here at the Hyvinkaa Track on training day getting used of plenty of noise and excitement. You will see shots of them in-between the race practice runs. We are very pleased with not only the good looks of these two pups, but also with their wonderful, outgoing temperaments!

Armel (Sapsan) and Nomsa (Samina) are now three months old! Nomsa lives with Tiina Torkko and is co-owned by Marjo Aittokari. Tiina plans to enjoy racing and lure with her girl and may possibly explore the show ring. Armel, with Tuija Tuominen, will also participate in the coursing and show activities in Finland. We see very bright futures for these pups and many fun and wonderful times ahead for them and their new owners!

At four months of age Armel and Nomsa are now full fledged members of their new families and have been enjoying the warm, beautiful summer months in Finland. Nomsa is pictured at the top, left, while Armel (bottom, left and right) shows he is a nut that did not fall far from the family tree! At least his father's side of the family, since his dad loves MUD. Lot's of MUD! Both are beginning to practice chasing the lure and hope to venture onto the lure fields and tracks as they mature.

To the left is Al-Yasamin Sapsan at six months of age. He is maturing as a solid, substantial boy and is retaining a lot of the beautiful black fringe/sabling in his coat. Of course, he has his father's white front booties, too! He and his family have recently moved within minutes of the Tampere track, so Armel will grow up well schooled for racing. We hope he will enjoy this activity, along with lure coursing and going to dog shows very much!

Armel is pictured at 8 months of age, enjoying the snow. He is following in his father's footsteps as Sky loves cold weather and does not mind the snow in the least!

Nomsa is pictured above at 10 months of age. She too, appears to be fairly resistent to the cold and snow, enjoying herself, racing around. You can see her here in this video, she is the red pup without a blanket on (like the youth, to be impervious to the cold!) being the "rabbit" for the older dogs: Nomsa in the Snow.

Armel at 10 months of age continues to enjoy running and playing in the snow! We'll have to see what he does for entertainment during the summer months, but we suspect he might be practicing on the lure and on the track this year!

The Al-Yasamin S litter is now one year old! They celebrated their day together, playing in the snow with many of their relatives, including their mother (above, right). Sapsan (left) seems to be a born runner, as does his sister Nomsa (right) and with the springtime and summer fast approaching, they plan on letting their feet find the Earth at high speed! Happy Birthday to the flying red heads!
