Sizzle, dam of the Beatles!

BISS Am Mex Ch. Carmas Some Like It Hot JC, FCh ("Sizzle") was the dam of Sky's first litter which was whelped June 22nd, 1999 and bred by Lyndell Ackerman ~ "Camp Carma". Sizzle was the Best in Specialty winner of the 1997 SCOA Western Regional. She was also BOB at the San Angeles Saluki Club Trophy Supported entry the same weekend. Sizzle was known for her flowing outline, showmanship and movement. She was also a multiple Best in Field winner on the lure coursing field.

The Beatles

BIS Ch. Carma's Hey Jude JC, known to his friends and admirers as "Paul" was chosen by Lyndell and I at six weeks of age as being "pretty special". He did fulfill our expectations and more. Paul was a top ten Saluki for three years, a multiple Group Winner and an all breed and Hound Specialty Best in Show winner. He is pictured (right) at six weeks of age.

Paul at 6 weeks
Paul wins Best in Hound Show!

Like Paul's sire and dam, he was an outstanding showman and crowd pleaser. He is pictured on the move (R) with his best friend and handler, Shari Rhodes Lee and on the left winning Best in Show at the Western Washington Hound Association show in 2003. Paul has sired several exciting litters and the get are influencing the bloodlines of Sirianni Acres, Tiarc and Lyndell's own kennel. We are enjoying watching Sky's grandchildren as they grow, mature and bring happiness to their owners and breeders. Paul retired, living with and being completely spoiled by Lyndell's daughter, Rhonda until his passing at thirteen years of age.

Sky (L) and Paul (R)

Sky is pictured on the left with Paul on the right. The first time I saw Paul at a show as a mature dog, I didn't know he was entered. I just saw this red dog being walked to the ring and I thought someone had stolen Sky from me! I was delighted (of course!) to learn it was Paul! He is indeed, a "Skyclone"!!

John

Carma's Sgt Pepper, "John" was owned by myself. As a puppy he sustained an unfortunate break to his left hind leg, which left him unshowable. None the less, John is a very handsome boy with a great personality to match.

Carmas Good Day Sunshine, known as "George", along with his brother "Ringo" live with long time Saluki enthusiasts Tatsuki and Lenore Kobayashi in Woodinville WA. Both boys are recognized Therapy Dogs and pay visits to hospitals in the Seattle area with Lenore. They also share the Kobayahi's beautiful home and acreage with several prized Llamas!

George & 7 years
Ringo at 7 years (L) and 4 weeks (R)

Ch. Carmas Mother Natures Son, "Ringo", finished his bench title with ease as a young boy and led a wonderful life with his brother, George, living with and being completely loved by the Kobayashi's. Obviously, Ringo also had a very good eye for fine art! He is pictured at seven years of age (L) and at four weeks (R). (1999 ~ 2007)
